The Client: Leicester and Leicestershire LEP
The Brief: To develop a Sport and Physical Activity Sector Growth Plan for the Leicester and Leicestershire LEP.
The Work: Working as an Associate of Innovas, the contracted supplier to Leicester and Leicestershire LEP, Katie provided sport sector specific expertise and knowledge to the project which commenced in May 2016. Katie was involved in the primary research process by interviewing businesses and sport sector organisations through face to face meetings and on the telephone. Katie supported the facilitation of two stakeholder workshops conducted as part of the plan development process and supported the final report production.
The Outcome: The delivery of a final Sector Growth Plan to the LEP in August 2016 which identified the economic impact of the sector to the area and made recommendations as to initiatives required to support sector growth.
